Isaac is kind, informative, fair, extraordinarily knowledgeable, speaks German and Japanese and just so cool overall. I went to three stores. His was the smallest but by far the best. Just a half block off the main drag in a non descript office building (low overhead!).

Ukulele lab has a unique eye for ukes you may not find elsewhere. They also make phone cases and custom pickguards. Service is friendly and accomodating. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Isaac is a wonderful guide into the world of ukulele. I have been playing for eight years and feel like I learned more about the instrument in two hours with him than I had until now. His shop dog Azuki lent me his ear while I tested several different Hawaii-made ukuleles. Isaac had everything I wanted to try and more, and his advice was crucial in helping me decide which instrument was the best fit for me and my music. I can't recommend this store enough!
