With the other Marriott properties in the area, I was hesitant to book this hotel but am so glad I did. The hotel is clean and updated. Rooms are big, offering a stunning ocean view. The staff is extremely pleasant. We stayed here in the beginning of April and it often felt like we had the place to ourselves. Much quieter than the beach front properties we walked through (crowded pool areas, lots of kids running around). At the AC you are a quick 10-minute walk down the hill to the shops and 15-minute walk to access the beach. If you want a relaxed vibe in a fantastic location - the AC Wailea is for you. When you go, I hope you have the pleasure of meeting Jenver at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Maui.

It was what I expected. A level slightly above holiday inn or motel 6.
Staff is cordial and accommodating. It rained and we asked for hotel umbrella, they don't have any. The front desk person offered his, which was really nice.
They don't have body lotion which is so basic to offer guests.
The view is beautiful if only the pool and ocean weren't facing it alongside the parking lot.
It's a convenient place to stay if you plan to spend no time in your room whatsoever. We did t spend much time here at all.
Overall, it's too pricey for the amenities offered, which were almost none.

First time staying at the AC in Wailea. Good location with great views. The grounds are very tidy and the staff are great people. Great customer service and lots of information about what to eat and see if you're new to the island. Rooms are immaculate and consistent with the AC brand. We were immediately upgraded to a 5th floor with an ocean view upon arrival. That was a plus since we like to relax on the balcony occasionally.
The bar and infinity pool area is quaint. Food and drinks were good but expensive as you would expect when eating and drinking on property. The standout was the chicken katsu sandwich. Best thing on the menu, in my opinion.
My only real complaint is the pool and hot tub close at 9pm. The bar and fire pit seating area is open until 10pm. I suppose I understand the early closure because the area is small and very close to ground floor rooms. This doesn't change my opinion of the hotel though. It's a very nice option if you want to stay in Wailea.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Shops at Wailea and other small shopping centers with coffee and breakfast options. Plenty of open parking if you have a car. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

What a gorgeous view from the infinity pool! This hotel is in one of the upscale neighborhoods of Maui, close to other premium resorts. The rooms were new and clean. The reception staff was welcoming and responsive. The all you can eat breakfast was delightful. I felt safe walking to the hotel from the nearby beaches (Ulua, Wailea beach) even at night. The hot tub and the lava store fire pit were enticing in the evenings. Definitely recommend!

One of the newest Marriott properties on the island and very well situated and a quiet neighborhood.
Beautiful, shady, running and very close to tennis and golf courses.
Staff was very friendly and helpful and honored my platinum status late check out, which is always appreciated!
