The best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had! Their Aloha Patty melt is a bomb!! Full of cheese and meat! Amazing. My kids had the 4 cheese melt. They hate grilled cheese sandwich but loved this one. That tells you how good they are. Place is small but gives a local vibe. I’d say it’s cozy. The owner and staff are very nice and friendly. Totally recommended.
If you’re a fan of grilled cheese sandwiches, this place will definitely hit the spot. I got the Classic Melt which was so good. The sauce it comes with was super delicious. This was a great spot to find when we had a late night craving during our trip in January. Very speedy service as this is more of a grab and go type of place. They do have some seating though. Also, a paper bag costs extra ($0.25) so just be sure to have a reusable bag on you if you don’t want to pay for one. Next time I’m in Waikiki, I want to come back and try their 4 Cheese Melt with their Creamy Tomato Basil Soup. That sounds so good!
The restaurant is a small store front with a service counter and a couple seats. They are open for lunch and dinner with a small break in between. The staff were nice. I ordered the bacon beef patty melt. The filling of the sandwich is generous; it spills out of the sandwich which is not a complaint. The seasoning is excellent. Ingredients are good quality. Good value for price.
I’m always on the search for grilled cheese, this was pretty good! And the tomato basil soup was delicious! It’s a pretty basic menu - so as long as you know to expect that and you love grilled cheese, then this is for you! It’s a pretty popular place, and not a lot of seating. Either plan to be patient and wait, or get it to go! We waited about 25-30 minutes before we could get a table. Very filling. Service was good. They do have bottled drinks. Indoor seating - maybe 4 or 5 small tables.
I got the 4 cheese melt, this is the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had, and I’ve definitely had a lot of grilled cheeses. The sauce they give is so delicious, I wish I had ordered an extra. There’s so much cheese and the melted cheese along the edges makes it even tastier. You MUST try this place!!! There’s about 4 small tables inside to sit at, but they were all filled. Plan to eat it somewhere else. Some may say the wait was long but trust me it’s worth it!!!
