Had a quick dinner here and it was great! They are takeout only but have a small patio out front with seating that you can eat at. We were perfectly fine to take our boxes there ourselves but they served us our drinks, brought out plates and silverware and served the food when it was ready. The food we got was delicious and I’m sure the rest of the menu is too - highly recommend this lowkey spot for a relaxed meal!
Lovely gem of a place hidden off the main fairway. The staff are extremely accommodating and nice! We somehow ended up arriving 10 minutes before the lunch close and were allowed to dine in on the patio area instead of do takeout. (They close midday to reset for dinner.) Make sure to listen to the recommendations of the older lady as they were wonderful. We had beef with broccoli and Mongolian beef, both great dishes! Utensils or chopsticks are available. The restaurant is still in takeout mode (from COVID times) so dining in will have plates alongside of the food in a take outbox — lots of food means some leftovers are inevitable — and the need to order a bottled water.
We enjoyed a meal here after a day at the beach. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the hosts were lovely. We indulged in spring rolls, beef and broccoli, Kung pao chicken, house chow fun and the recommended candied shrimp walnut. Delicious! Sorry no pictures as we dove right in. Highly recommend!!
You would be remiss to dismiss your meal on a gem like this! You’ve got the wonderful Grace running the shop with her quick and efficient staff. The dining area is eclectic and gives me the vibes of a k drama where there’s just a uniqueness to it that you can’t find with main stream restaurants. The food was amazing, authentic wok cooked meals for our orders. Unlike a few places that we’ve gone to, the service and the food was crazy fast, crazy good. Grace and her husband Kai have set up the restaurant very efficiently where you phone orders and you have 5 tables at the restaurant. The place is SO good that for our four nights here in Maui, we HAD to go again!! We ordered the Mongolian beef, cashew chicken, DELICIOUS crispy wontons, and the mapo tofu and the braised tofu with mushrooms. My wife and I wish Grace and her crew all the best and to continue with their passion of cooking and success. Mahalo!! Let’s go!!!
The food is excellent and low sodium. We had sauteed string beans and steamed sole.The ginger, onion sauce on the fish is delicious. The string beans are fresh and just sauteed right like in first class Cantonese restaurants. This restaurant does not have ambience. It is Close to the road and has road noise because it is in a patio. Otherwise I would give it a straight 5 stars.
