Truly a hidden gem of a tour! We took this tour at 2:30 today, and it was an unforgettable experience. Captain Keaka was incredibly patient, skillfully following the humpback whales to give us the best opportunities for photos. He also took the time to answer every question we had about these amazing creatures. Nick and Dustin were super helpful to make sure we had a great time, providing refreshments and sharing fun facts about whales. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an incredible whale-watching experience!”
Our captain and crew were amazing! Everyone was informative and their energy made you feel welcome. You can tell they love their jobs. It was so endearing to see the young man kindly encouraging and helping an older woman who was nervous on the boat. Because he was so patient and kind, the remaining people waiting to board were patient too and cheered her on when she boarded. We were checked on throughout the trip and offered drinks and snacks and our trash was even collected. This team showed exactly what customer service looks like! Bonus was spotting whales and a shark. If I get the names wrong, I apologize, but Marley, Billy, & Joe you guys rock! Thank you for a truly great experience!
Got invited to this boat cruise by a friend and let me tell you it was an amazing experience! It was just just perfect time to see sunset before we sailed out. I’m hoping to take this cruise again in a summer time when sun goes down a little later and we can see sunset and fireworks all from the boat! People on the boat were super sweet! I remember names Nick and Marlee. They have bar that you can purchase drinks from and I’m pretty sure u can bring ur own food there but not sure if they are planning on serve food in a future. But they do have a snack bar for purchase. Boat is really roomy had 2 floors with seating areas and the bottom floor has a window that you can see into the ocean. Very clean and cozy. 2 restrooms on the boat. Fireworks were amazing and seeing it from the boat is totally a different experience. Highly recommend!!! Thank you guys for a fun night!
We went for the whale watching tour in the glass bottom boat. The glass bottom of the boat was a little underwhelming. We tried to see the fish when going over the reef but the boat was going too fast to see anything. The glass bottom room was also really small. We had a great time whale watching and saw humpback whales several times. We also saw a group of dolphins up close several times. It was very cool. The crew was all great and very nice. They has free snacks and drinks onboard which was a nice touch. It was a little rockier than we thought it would be but no one got sick. There was lots of parking at the paid lots when we were there. It $6 for 3 hours. There also was a fuel surcharge we were not expecting.
Son and I booked last minute for a great deal. Boat wasn’t that packed so several seats to choose from. We chatted with the crew where they were from and asked questions about the island (where to eat) and where originally from here. One actually lived near us in Cali for a short stint. I met other passengers while we all chatted it up. They have insight on the whales. I missed one by 5 minutes after changing location and one went right under us!!!! Seen one from afar but the whales were not active yesterday but it was a pleasure being on the boat in the island with a good crew. They offer snacks and you can bring your own beverages or snacks which we did. I will def use them again.
