Service at check in was amazing. We bought luau tickets on site. Rooms are pretty standard and very clean. There's NO microwave in the room. There is a small fridge, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. We stayed in Tapa tower and had a gorgeous ocean view. There's so many amenities, restaurants, and shops on and around the property. We will stay here again.
Walking into the room, gorgeous. Loads of things in the kitchen, blender, washer huge fridge, even a crock pot! Don't usually see these type of things. Huge island to sit or to eat at. Like it better then a dinner table. Bathroom very bright, love the open layout except toilet gives some privacy which is nice. Bedroom little tight. Huge beds but the closet are kinda hard to get into. Have to go to side to open. View on the porch...is definitely an eye sore. No one really wants to look outside to see boilers right outside there window. Can't hear them to much inside but being outside there loud. Has good and some bad things around the hotel. Love the fact has a mini mall inside the hotel. It's loads of restaurants, shops, even have the pool near the end of the block. It's near the ocean. Good 10 to 15 walk to ocean. Took a bit to get to know where everything is but once walked around it was easier to navigate the area.
I recently stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club The Grand Islander Waikiki Honolulu for three nights, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the check-in process seamless. The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed, with breathtaking views that perfectly captured the charm of Waikiki. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I woke up refreshed and ready to explore every morning. The amenities were top-notch, from the fully equipped kitchenette to the luxurious bathroom that felt like a spa experience. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Waikiki, with easy access to the beach, shopping, and excellent dining options. It was so convenient to have everything within walking distance. The hotel’s facilities, including the pool and fitness center, were clean and well-maintained, adding even more value to the stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. This hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Honolulu. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and convenience!
The entire HGV Complex enjoys a great location off Ala Moana, facing the beach and park... strategically, which building you choose determines what view you'll enjoy. This comes into play for HGV owners if you're on lower floors. You definitely want at least 20 and above... the rooster fades at this level and view angles are better. Lagoon Tower (24 floors w/ Penthouse) tends to have a better view of the ocean, and the ground luau, and fireworks on Fridays. Grand Islander has 40 floors so the view gets pretty expansive. Side note: no room service, cleaning is by request, and no built-in restaurants... I'm pondering life decisions these days... but for the 1-2 bedroom size its a very good value.
Beautiful hotel in Hilton Grand Village. Customer service was always there for us. The one-bedroom suite was spacious and well-designed. It fitted perfectly for a family of four. The kitchen was well-equipped. The TAPA pool and the one on 3rd floor were so much less crowded than the pools near the beach. The resort offered various activities for kids' entertainment. Highly recommend!
