It's a wonderful museum to visit! Their collection is impressive and pretty diverse compared to other museums I've been to. A great place to spend the day and enjoy the visuals. The staff is very friendly, and the cafe in the courtyard is a great place to get some work done.
I loved it! I came a little later in the afternoon and it felt intimate. There's so much to do. I would set aside 3 to 4 hours to look at everything. The moment I walked in the customer service was impeccable! I finished off with dinner in the cafe. Had the most amazing mahi-mahi sandwich I've ever had in my life! It was fresh and my waitress was accommodating! I was starstruck at the Monet painting and being a Haitian woman, I was so happy to see some representation in the art as well. I was so blessed to come here.
I do enjoy visiting this open-air museum. It has a tricky layout for first timers but easy to learn from the maps provided & enjoy getting a little lost with little to no empty areas. See the Palm Courtyard coffee bar or HoMA Café for food & drinks. Parking lot in a separate parking lot is a little difficult too.
Really beautiful and impressive artifacts. All of the exhibits were outstanding. This is a great place to go on a rainy day. To see all of the exhibits, I’d recommend 2-3 hours.
