We sat in the front window seat. You order upon entering. We asked for water and they brought a large glass bottle with a seal on top and two cold metal glasses. I liked the water and the glasses but my wife would have preferred ice. Seating wasn’t very comfortable and tables were family style and larger tables were meant to be shared. I had fish and chips. The fish was great. It was hot, very tender and juicy, and the batter was light and tasty. The fries were not to my liking, as they were the stringy hard ones, but I acknowledge others like that style. The service was good. The food was not quick, but reasonable for the high quality.
I could see that the experience at the counter was very different and had a great deal of interaction with the staff and could see into the kitchen. I have had take out from here and it was very good.

Happy tastebuds! Basil tofu with red curry and rice noodles: yum :). There is just the right amount of mild heat in the curry. Tofu was fried on basil leaves- attractive. Mung bean sprouts, broccoli and carrot were also in this dish. I ordered the lava cake to split. Husband got the fish & chips, which were fried properly and fresh. Nice experience on long tables with others casually sitting wherever there is room. Looked like many locals also were there over lunch break. Delicious!

Came here as to avoid the ultra tourist scene despite the restaurant still being full of tourist (including myself lol). But at least it's a lot cheaper than surrounding restaurants.
I ordered the seared ahi and my daughter ordered the lemongrass tofu. In addition, got the adobo fried rice and halo halo to end off the meal.
The portions are LARGE; most diners around me had to doggy bag it out. In general, I thought it was a tad too salty for my tastebuds. As a side note, the lady next to me ordered some pork looking dish with a sauce and she commented how the sauce was too sweet (she only had ate half her food).
So although the place a nice casual place to dine in West Maui, I do think some of the dishes are too much? I did enjoy the adobo pork fried rice but again, I think it was a tad salty.
Halo Halo - VERY SHAREABLE; could have been split 3-4 ways; it was delicious.
All in all - I did like the place. Its casual, not too pricey, and have a variety of dishes for you to try. I think it's worth a visit and you can decide for yourself how you like it.

Fantastic lunch spot with a lots of variety on the menu. Daughter had the chicken chow Funn and loved it. I had the garlic chicken (fried breast) and hubby had the lemongrass salmon. Unfortunately they were out of the ahi today but everything was fresh and made to order, added bonus they have a full bar with great strong cocktails!

Waited at the front counter for a few minutes before realizing the person who probably takes orders was behind the bar on their phone. Walked over and they were very pleasant and took my order quickly.
The breakfast burrito is a good size and tasty except for when you get big bites of unseasoned white rice. Considering there are potato’s in the burrito a 2nd starch seems excessive, especially when it doesn’t have flavor.
