If you’re looking for traditional Mexican food, we are talking good refried beans and cheesy enchiladas, you have found your place in Hawaii. I’m a bit of a spice hound and the habanero salsa coupled with the warm tortilla chips was irresistible! If you can’t take the heat, the house salsa was fresh and delicious.
Because this place is located outside of the hotel zone, you’ll save a few bucks.

Great food and excellent drinks. It’s a little off the beaten path, but so much cheaper than other spots and the food is way better. Quite a few Spanish speakers were also eating there, which tells you the food is tasty and authentic. Super nice server and friendly atmosphere. Basic table and chairs, so nothing romantic, but just great food.

I eat here about once a week and love it. The food is consistently delicious. The staff is super friendly. Prices are affordable. The dining hall is always clean and comfortable. There are a lot of Mexican food options here, but I choose LP.

$8 tostada has $1 worth of food at best and was bland. Guess that's just the way of things these days? Service was basically terrible. Kitchen staff busy laughing and visiting and lost my order. To be fair to the kitchen staff, the problem could have been the front of the house staff - inattentive, on their phones. My entire visit there was a lady sitting in the staff area to the left of the bar. Face buried in her phone.... does she work there? Why is she not helping? I've been in the restaurant biz for decades and this place is a dud. I see lots of good reviews so maybe I just caught on an off day.... I'm unlikely to check back to see.

Came here late in the afternoon. Was delighted. A lot of authentic Mexican food that is really well done. My wife is gluten free and I'm vegetarian and there were a ton of options for both of us that were clearly labeled.
Restaurant is relatively small tucked away in a retail area but service was good and the food was probably the 2nd best meal I had in Maui. My wife also loved her horchata and coffee
