Definitely the best Musubi in Wiakiki. The staff is very friendly and happy to answer questions. It is strictly take-out but there are ample benches all around in the plaza out front.
If you don’t know, Musubi is a fancy name for “Spam Sushi.” It is a beloved Hawaiian snack of grilled Spam and rice wrapped in nori (seaweed). The Musubi is the size of a spam slice, so it is NOT like normal sushi.
We had three varieties; the Kimchi Musubi (shown in pictures) Black Pepper Musubi, and Shrimp Tempura & Avocado (also shown). The Musubi is pre-wrapped, though made with love daily. Their rice is incredibly flavorful unlike other Musubi we have tried. All three flavors were exceptional and the Nori was mild with no abrupt aftertaste.
Although Musubi is available at EVERY ABC Store, it pales in comparison in every facet. I would recommend walking the short distance off Kalakaua Avenue to find this tiny gem. We gladly snacked here multiple times during our seven day stay.

I have never had SPAM before and I’m not a fan of nori. This was a huge leap of faith from me. We got 2 of the teriyaki original musubi, 1 black pepper musubi, and 1 plum musubi. We then had to come back after we finished and grab another of the original teriyaki musubi. It was so good! My nose was bothered by the smell of nori from the place, but the taste wasn’t as heavy. I was really surprised. Definitely made fresh daily. The cost was obviously great and the rice portion was perfect for the spam slice. I’m shocked I enjoyed it as much as I did. Come hungry and leave happy for sure.

If you have a craving for musubi, this is the place for you! I had the teriyaki spam and the tempura shrimp musubi... delicious! Wish I would've gotten more! Don't be deterred if there's a long line because it moves quick!

A little shop selling musubi and musubi related merchandise such as bags, shirts, and even musubi kits. We went around 7 pm and there were still a variety of musubi available to purchase. There’s enough space in the shop for several people to enter, whether they are buying merch, or buying musubi and beverages.

Like the musubi, especially the unagi and tempura ones, but the fish amount on onigiri is ridiculous, after the initial bite, it's basically just plain rice for the rest of it.
