I had an amazing stay at the Outrigger Hotel. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a relaxing island vibe. The location was perfect—just steps away from the beach, shops, and great restaurants. The amenities, especially the pool and on-site dining, exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, the Outrigger offers top-notch comfort and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
I stayed here for a week while I was doing a photoshoot. My room was very nice and spacious. I loved the open lobby incorporated with the pool. The staff was polite and helpful with anything I needed. The only thing I didn't like was the food they had at the bar/restaurant. But there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. From the Hard Rock to Denny's and many more. Plenty of stores and shops. It's right on the beach. Just walk out the back and you are there. Nightly live music to relax too. I would definitely stay here again despite not liking the food
I have been staying at this hotel/resort for nearly 20 years because it never disappoints. The staff is caring, friendly and warm. I’ve always been welcomed back with a smile and overall good vibes. They treat you like you are family and remember you as well. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great gym facility. The pool area is nice and again no matter where you are a staff member always recognizes you and greets you with ‘Aloha’. By far the best hotel I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Also, a fairly good beach front as well. Great for pictures! No doubt it’s their staff - they provide you with a magical experience!
PRO: Great, great location, luxurious room, nice pool, easy access to ABC stores, restos, shopping strips, etc., nice staff/house-keeping, environmentally-conscious. CON: No microwave, no drinks/snacks in the room, expensive parking compared to next door hotels, pricey (like everything else on the island), no laundry facility (a 24-hr laundry facility is a 15min walk costing around $12 for wash/dry). RECOMMENDATION: IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT, recommended for short-term vacation stays only due to great location & luxury rooms.
The room was well suited for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower very nice. The view was very nice with a good view of the ocean and mountains on our higher floor partial ocean view room. The pool, beach access, location in Waikiki, and easy access for Uber pickups were a plus. The balcony furniture and seating furniture in the room seemed dated and were not really comfortable as expected with the price point.
