We are very happy with our choice of the Prince Waikiki. The location is great if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Waikiki, but it is within walking distance. We enjoyed the views every morning of the Pacific Ocean. The park right next door is a huge plus for walks and runs. The service is top notch as you would expect with a 4 star hotel. The spa was ok, it is a converted hotel room on the fifth floor and the downside was you could hear the pool noise while relaxing during your treatment, but the massage was great. The pool is very nice and well maintained, the infinity pool was closed for maintenance, but the larger pool was never so crowded you couldn’t find a chair. There is no shade in the afternoon but you have a nice breeze coming off the ocean. You are still in a big city so even though we were on the 29th floor every night and morning I would wake up to or hear car alarms and emergency vehicles or trucks backing up. It is a big city not Maui. If you don’t want to stay in a big city do not stay in Waikiki. The restaurants in the resort were very good and so was the service.

I have stayed at numerous different hotels in Waikiki over the years and no hotel has ever impressed me enough to want to book with them again. Prince Waikiki is the only exception. We were given a room on the 28th floor of the Diamond Tower that had amazing floor to ceiling views of the harbor and neighboring beaches. It was breathtaking! The bellman who helped us with our bags went above and beyond to ensure our needs were taken care of - he called housekeeping to bring us bed rails for our toddlers so they wouldn't roll off the bed and he even brought my kids sand toys for the beach that other guests had left behind. Although check-in/check-out/concierge was rather slow, I can confidently say that that hospitality displayed by the valet and housekeeping staff was one of the best experiences we've ever had. Also, something as simple as providing their guests with reusable water bottles and water fill stations was truly appreciated and made me question why other hotels don't do something similar.
Some might say the location is too far off the main strip but this was something that I sought out in a hotel. It's close enough to the strip that you could get there with a short walk or bus ride but it was far enough from the hustle and bustle that I could get a good night's sleep - a necessity when traveling with two young kids.
The food options available were great. Honolulu coffee is in the lobby and, while quite expensive, made for easy on-the-go breakfasts when needed. The room service meals from 100 Sails were also delicious.
Thank you Prince Waikiki for an amazing stay! We can't wait to come back some day.

Beds are so comfortable with great pillows. I slept better than I had all year. Hotel is pretty quiet, didn't have to worry about hearing the next door room conversations or TV. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Big plus having ABC market right across the street. Would stay here again.

We booked premier ocean view room and had a nice stay with prince. Smooth check in, thoughtful amenities, artful design. Even though the room itself shows signs of age, it was still elegant and tasteful. We especially enjoyed the bathroom amenities and the expansive ocean view. Waking up to the blue/turquoise ocean right out the window was a dream come true. The location was away from the buzz of it all, but close enough to the places we’d like to visit and walkable to breakfast spots, certain restaurants, and convenience stores. The nice touch is the complimentary sparkling wine they sent for our honeymoon.
The staff from housekeeping to front desk were friendly and helpful, which made our stay more wonderful.
Special thanks to our housekeeper who found our wallet after we checked out and Rachelle for contacting us and returning it to us. Beautiful hotel, beautiful people. We will be back!

Great location and away from the Waikiki busy traffic. This is a great hotel and I normally give it 5 stars. Except, this time the best part of the pool area was under construction and I wasn't notified prior. I specifically chose this hotel for the amazing infinite pool section on the edge.
Prince hotel is expensive and I felt they should've given a discount for the pool construction or at least notified us.
