The moment we arrived to Sheraton Waikiki, we knew that its going to be special. The staff were nice and we were given complimentary drinks and chocolate.
We had to wait 4 hours to get our room ready but the views and outdoor seating made the time flight.
The room was spacious and very clean. The ocean view was breathtaking! The toilet with its Japanese bidet was a new lovely experience. The bath tub was a good size.
The bed was really comfy and clean. They have 2 type of pillows that you can request from the room service if needed.
The pools were so nice and specially the infinity pool.
The water temperature was warm and very close to the ocean water. The private ocean is a nice feature too.
I highly recommend this hotel A+++

The room and views are amazing. The hotel staff were all amazing. Loved the amenities too. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is the pool. There is not enough chairs EVER no matter the time of day you go. People go out at 6am to save seats even though they have signs that say not too. It's not enforced, so all chairs are gone by 830 even though no one is there. It took everything I had to get a single chair for 4 people and there were 4 next me "taken" but didn't see a single person using them for half the day.

Let’s start with the cons.
This hotel is absolutely massive but only has about 120 chairs at the adults only pool so getting a spot is a battle. The other reviews aren’t kidding when they say that people line up an hour in advance before the pool opens to get a chair.
The lobby and entire downstairs area seems to be part of some shopping mall open to the public, so it’s very chaotic. Not relaxing at all.
There’s a $60 resort fee per day. You’d think that would cover you being able to get a chair at the pool but no.
There is virtually no beach dedicated to the Sheraton. For the very limited beach space that is adjacent to the property, there are no chairs for people at the Sheraton, only an independent booth that allows people to rent chairs for a price but it’s always sold out.
Now the pros.
If you are able to get a spot at the adults only pool, it is very nice. The views are amazing.
If you get an oceanfront room, again the views are great. The rooms are also solid and clean

The location is amazing given views, but it's a shame that the owners have let this hotel just fall apart. Run down tiles, building is falling apart with cheap fixes all over, the room has carpet and furniture from like 20 years ago, the beach chairs and pool side chairs torn up. The whole property has been neglected for the last 10 years it seems. I stayed here 10 years ago and came this time staying in the Moana building which is supposed to be the best views and rooms. Very disappointed. If you want nice rooms and fine dinning and a well kept property, I would stay away from this hotel. This is a 2-3 star hotel at best. Not worth 900 a night. One of the days after getting out room serviced we can adult toe nails on the carpet in the middle of the room... That was pretty gross, I told the hotel staff and they didn't do anything.

The location and the views are amazing. Other than that there is not much more to brag about. Everything about the rooms is small. Bathroom tiny, no closet space. TV keeps buffering. Unless you go to the pool or beach by 8AM there are no towels, no chairs, everything is gone. Even if you want to pay for chairs they are sold out. Pretty Disappointing. They shouldn’t allow one person to hold 5 Chairs for hours. You are either there or you are not.
