Room was a little smaller than other rooms I've been in. It has a balcony which was nice. The hotel looked like it was under some remodeling as the hallway carpets and elevators were a little dated. They charge a $35 daily amenity fee. Location was good as it's a block away from most stores and restaurants.

Rooms were very clean, for us the very bright 1960s furniture wasn't quite our style. The hallway colors are unfortunately very dark and scary. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent given the room price. You are a short two to three block walk to the beach. For those on a budget I would definitely recommend this hotel.
(Our stay was very short since we had disembarked from the cruise ship and had a midnight flight. When we arrived at the hotel they had a room already ready for us and they took our luggage up. Thank you. This allowed us to enjoy a little more time in Honolulu without the stress of where we would keep our luggage and since we are in our '70s where we could rest from time to time.)

I really enjoyed my stay at the Shoreline! The location was perfect! Couldn't had a better location because everything is so close by. Pick up for many tours is right across the street at the Ross. The bus stop is right around the corner and you can get around easily using public transportation, unless you want to go to the north shore, that would take a couple of hours. So many good restaurants around here! My favorite was the Udon noodles at Murugame! Another great feature is their water dispenser and yummy coffee in the mornings. Being able to fill up my water bottle easily with cold water, with flavors or just natural water. Every hotel should have these! So convenient. Also they give you clean beach towels when needed at the front desk. They really won me over right when I got there. I had an overnight flight and was exhausted when I arrived at the hotel around 630am. I was expecting to just have to drop off my bags and wander until 3pm check in, but they actually let me check in early because they had a room available, with no charge! I can't tell you how much I needed that nap! I will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends and would love to stay here again.

Solid stay at the Shoreline! Was doing some reno during our stay but really only during the day when we were out and about anyway.
Rooms super clean and comfy/cozy, AC always blasting which was nice to come home too after day out in da heat!
Damien, Tyler, Vivian and whole staff super friendly, helpful, attentive & checking in and looking after us.
Would def recommend for a casual, easy stay in town!

Best value in Waikiki!
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay. Location was great. Staff was wonderful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Tons of little amenities that really added an extra touch. This hotel is not a name brand resort; they don't try to be and don't set your expectations for that. But for the money we paid, it exceeded our expectations. We will be back.
