Tante’s at the Maui Seaside Hotel in Kahului has the best seafood special in Maui. There were seven of us and we ordered the Jumbo Seafood Kamayan and Pansit. I’m still dreaming about the delicious food today! Lobster, jumbo Kauai Shrimp, Mussels, Clams, Crab, corn,potatoes and plenty of rice. We asked for the Bangus secret sauce to dip the seafood in. It was so delicious. Also had the mud pie and it was huge! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Locals love this place because the food is so delicious. And the Halo Halo Filipino Cuisine is amazing. I think they have the best Halo Halo on the island. They will even split it in two servings for you. Overall, I’m looking forward to bringing more friends to this restaurant for a holiday party.
This is everything you would expect from a little Hawaiian diner. The service was wonderful! These aunties made us feel right at home! We came just a few minutes too late for their breakfast menu but they were kind enough to let us order breakfast anyway. I had the pineapple pancakes and my husband had the bbq plate. Both were delicious in their own ways. There is a reason the bbq plate is a best seller. Can’t beat the prices either! After spending so much at other restaurants on the island that weren’t as good Tante’s was a welcome relief.
Delicious food! We had a flight to catch and they were very accommodating, served food quickly. Reasonable prices too.
Don't come here if you usually eat healthy and good food. Everything we got was frozen or from a can, the spinach in the Benedict, the pineapple in the pancakes, the orange juice. Who serves a Benedict with frozen spinach and French fries? Nothing here is fresh. The food is so unhealthy that my partner and I contemplated throwing up 10 min after because our stomachs were upset. IHOP doesn't even make us feel this shitty.
