The overall quality of food is pretty good, though it’s not quite on par with what you’d find in Asia. The variety of snacks and drinks are impressive. I especially liked the char siu buns and chicken feet, which are definitely the standout dishes here—both are flavorful and unique. That being said, the custard buns were a bit too greasy, and some dishes, like the stir-fried noodles, could use more flavor. Still, I’d recommend giving it a try!

Everything we ordered at Tim Ho Wan was fantastic. The service was quick, kind, and attentive.
We had the:
- Steamed Pork Dumplings With Shrimp (Siu Mai)
- STEAMED SHRIMP DUMPLINGS (HAR GOW)
- Sticky Rice In Lotus Leaf
- Steamed Pork Spare Rib With Black Bean Sauce
- Pan Fried Noodle with Char-siu
- Steamed Short Rib with Black Pepper
- Fried Crab and Shrimp Dumplings with Wasabi May
- Chili Oil Steamed Wontons
- Iced Milk Tea
This was our last meal in Hawaii and ended our trip on a great note. We're happy to see that Tim has a location in NYC, where we're from, and will definitely be checking it out soon!

One of my favorite places to eat in waikiki! Great selections, every dish I've had is very full of flavor. Very reasonable pricing for the area too! I did like their old location, but the new one is bright and cheery. I come here often for take out, I love their dim sum, the lotus leaf rice, turnip cake, but the star of this show is their pork buns, literally one of the best things I've ever eaten! The sweet and crispy outside outshines any ol regular sticky bun. These guys know flavor! I usually get take out but the other day I stayed in to dine and my server, Sunny shone up to her name, thanks again I love your food and will continue to support!

This place's been on my list of places to try for dim sum. It’s usually pretty busy, but when I went, the wait was very short for just one person. The menu was smaller than I expected, but it still offered a decent variety of dishes. I tried the steamed rice roll with pork and the spicy dumplings. The food was prepared fresh and arrived fairly quickly. Both dishes were decent—though the pork had a slight smell, it was overall fine. I’d like to try the minced beef next time. The pricing is reasonable for what you get. While the service was mediocre, I would still return someday.

Tim Ho wan serves dim sum type and they are doing it well. Everything tastes fresh. The spare ribs taste peppery and well balanced, the chicken wing very flavorful, the shiu mai is very fresh and the string bean is perfectly cooked. The restaurant is on the small side. I don't think a wheelchair can maneuver easily. The staff is very friendly. Warning through the icea tea is not refillable. But overall is good experience.
